Major disruptions hit Yahoo and AOL services today, with users worldwide reporting login issues, “Too Many Requests” errors, and email access failures affecting both platforms.

Today, Yahoo and AOL services experienced widespread outages, leaving many users unable to access Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, and AOL.com. Reports started early in the morning, with service trackers recording a sharp increase in searches such as “is Yahoo down”, “Yahoo Mail down today”, and “is AOL down” from users in multiple regions.

Users attempting to open Yahoo Mail or visit AOL.com reported slow loading pages, login failures, and error messages. A large number of users saw a “Too Many Requests” message while trying to sign in, suggesting unusually high traffic or server overload.

The disruption appears to affect more than just email services. Other Yahoo and AOL features also showed instability, causing frustration among both personal and business users. Social media platforms were quickly filled with posts asking “Is Yahoo down?” and “Is AOL Mail down today?” as the outage continued.

Service monitoring tools recorded thousands of outage reports, making this one of the most noticeable Yahoo and AOL disruptions in recent months. While some users have reported partial recovery, many are still unable to access their accounts.
